D-Day 75th Anniversary 2019
We were in Normandy for the 75th anniversary of D-Day; it was an amazing trip starting out in London and visiting Winston Churchill's war rooms and General Eisenhauer’s Headquarters and Bletchley park where the Enigma code was broken. Then we ferried across the channel and landed on the Normandy beach; luckily no one was firing at us when we got there. Once there we visited all the beaches as well as all the cemeteries. We attended to ceremony at the American Cemetery commemorating the invasion. During the trip we met many of the veterans who landed on the beaches and got to hear their stories firsthand. It was a humbling experience to meet these heroes.
Here is a link to the book we made after we returned. It's a large file so will take some time to load
